As part of our exploration of 3D textiles we were given a cardboard bowl template to weave. The two in front were made using the template and wools. The piece at the back was inspired by the Floating Fibres exhibition at GOMA Brisbane. The indigenous weaving techniques encouraged me to move beyond the cardboard template and solid sides.
